The following information is year-to-date as of 12/27/07 and 12/27/06 from the Pinehurst-Southern Pines MLS.  Medians used for prices and days on market.

Though sales volume has declined in all three categories, prices have remained relatively stable for single family homes and have increased for both condos/townhomes and lots.   The sale vs. list price gap has increased for single family homes by about 50% in ’07.  Overall, this raw sales data suggests the Moore County real estate market is faring much better than many other regions througout the country.

Looking for a reasonable commute to Fort Bragg and a rural community? Check out available homes in Carthage. In addition to the growing number of subdivisions (such as Savannah Gardens and Cabin Branch), there are many resales with nice square footage and larger lots.

Current prices in Savannah Gardens, located of of Highway 15/501 less than 2 miles south of the intersection of Highway’s 15/501 and 24/27, are in the mid to upper $100′s.  Cabin Branch, located off Union Church Road (closer to Ft. Bragg) is a very nice new subdivision with prices ranging between the low $200′s to around $300,000.
